Assignments: Week #4

Reading:

Monday: Section 7.2. Wednesday: Section 7.3. Friday: Sections 7.2 and 7.3.

Exercises:

Wednesday: Online Assignment - Week #4, due at 11:00pm. Friday: Written Assignment - Week #4, due in class or by 3:20pm.

For this week's assignment, you may wish to use dfield to produce some of the slope fields (direction fields). If you are familiar with some other program for doing this, you may use that instead. (I know Maple has a facility for producing these diagrams.)

Homework may be turned in before or after class on Friday, or may be placed in your TA's mailbox before 3:20pm on Friday. The TA's mailboxes are in the Math Department office, WEH 6113.

Please make sure your homework includes the following:

1. Your name (on every page if you ignore #4.),
2. Your recitation section,
3. The names of those students with whom you have collaborated,
4. a staple.
