Assignments: Week #3

Reading:
  • Monday: Section 2.5 (we'll be taking a slightly different approach in class).
  • Wednesday: Section 2.7
  • Friday: Section 7.1.

Exercises:
  • Wednesday: Online Assignment - Week #3, due at 11:00pm.
  • Friday: Written Assignment - Week #3, due in class or by 3:20pm.
    1. Section 2.1 #33.
    2. Section 2.4 #22.
    3. Section 2.4 #26. (Don't make this problem harder than it really is, which is not too hard. It is a forshadowing of things to come.)

Online assignments are due by 11:00pm on the indicated day. Written homework may be turned in before or after class on Friday, or may be placed in your TA's mailbox before 3:20pm on Friday. The TA's mailboxes are in the Math Department office, WEH 6113.

Please make sure your homework includes the following:

  1. Your name (on every page if you ignore #4.),
  2. Your recitation section,
  3. The names of those students with whom you have collaborated,
  4. a staple.
