Reading:
  • Monday: Review Sections 3.2, 3.3 and 3.4. Read Section 10.1.
  • Wednesday: Section 3.8
  • Friday: Section 3.6.

Exercises:
  • Wednesday: Online Assignment - Week #10.
  • Friday: Written Assignment - Week #10. Complete the following problems by explicitly converting the second order equation to a linear system, solving the linear system, and taking the first component of that solution.
    1. Problem 3.1.11.
    2. Problem 3.3.8.

Homework may be turned in before or after class on Friday, or may be placed in your TA's mailbox before 3:20pm on Friday. The TA's mailboxes are in the Math Department office, WEH 6113.

Please make sure your homework includes the following:

  1. Your name (on every page if you ignore #4.),
  2. Your recitation section,
  3. The names of those students with whom you have collaborated,
  4. a staple.
