Reading:

Monday: Section 1.1, pp. 1-2; Section 1.3, pp. 19-24.
Wednesday: Section 2.2, all; Section 1.1, pp. 2-7.
Friday: Section 2.1, all.

Exercises:

Wednesday: "Homework Zero", found on the Wiley-PLUS site. (this assignment will not be graded. You should plan to complete it, though to make sure you are familliar with the Wiley-PLUS system.)
Friday: Section 1.3 #4, 12, 18, 20, 27.

Online assignments are due by 11:00pm on the indicated day. Written homework may be turned in before or after class on the due day, or may be placed in your TA's mailbox before 3:20pm on that day. The TA's mailboxes are in the Math Department office, WEH 6113.
