Ground Transportation Options from Pittsburgh International Airport

Three venues of transportation:

1. Port Authority 28X Airport Shuttle (public bus transportation)

The one-way fare is $2.25 (exact change required). No advance reservations are required. The shuttle runs every 20 minutes, 7 days a week. It departs from the ground floor of the airport next to the USAir baggage claim area. As soon as you exit the terminal, you will see a sign for the 28X. Allow 45 minutes to an hour for travel time.

Departing the Airport for Oakland where CMU is located:

Weekday service begins at 5:43 am and runs through 12:08 am.
Saturday, Sunday, and holiday service begins at 6:13 am and runs through 12:08 am.
