Welcome to the CNA
Workshop on New Trends in Calculus of Variations and Mass Transport
CNA
Carnegie Mellon University, March 13-15, 2008
Variational formulations of physical and biological questions are
central in applied mathematics. The goal of this workshop is to discuss
recent progress and promising directions in this area. Special attention
is given to mass transport (Monge Kantorovich) methods, calculus of
variations, geometric measure theory and partial differential equations.
