Title: On the well-posedness of the Prandtl boundary layer equations

Abstract: I will present a new local well-posedness framework for the Prandtl boundary layer equations. One of the main novelties is that the required matching at the top of the boundary layer is of polynomial rather than exponential type. The proof is based on a suitable change of variables in the normal direction (in terms of the underlying Euler flow) and analytic energy estimates in the tangential direction.
