Since Fall 2010, I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Algorithms, Combinatorics and Optimization (ACO) program, through the Department of Mathematical
Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University, working under the supervision of Professor Alan Frieze.
I completed my Ph.D. in May 2013 under the supervision of
Alan Frieze.
I will be joining
Aalto University.
My research lies at the intersection of data science and theory.
Specifically, my interests lie in network science, the design of algorithms for systems (e.g., MapReduce, Hadoop) that can handle large amounts of data and understanding cancer evolution.
News
Alan Frieze,
Aristides Gionis
and I will give a tutorial in KDD 2013 and in ECML PKDD 2013 on
Algorithmic techniques for modeling and mining large graphs.
Teaching
In Spring '13, I am an instructor of the class "21-257 Models and Methods for Optimization".
