Stochastic Homogenization of Time Dependent Hamilton-Jacobi Equations

Abstract

Stochastic Homogenization for (time independent) Hamilton-Jacobi equations has been know since results of Souganidis in 1999 and almost simultaneously by Rezakhanlou and Tarver. We will discuss the time dependent stochastic homogenization, present the analogous theorem, and show why the time dependent version requires slightly different techniques and methods from its time-independent counterpart.
