" Hardy inequalities and dynamic instability of singular Yamabe metric"

Abstract

We study the dynamic instability of singular distributional steady-states of a semilinear heat equation with critical Sobolev growth in Rn. For a wide class of equilibria, including the ones corresponding to singular Yamabe metrics on Sn we prove nonuniqueness and instability results for the Cauchy problem.
