ICTI Program in Applied Mathematics
CMU-Portugal
The Information and Communication Technologies Institute (ICTI) Program
in Applied Mathematics (http://icti.math.cmu.edu/index.html) offers a
unique international opportunity for educational and research training
in applied mathematics. The program is part of a broad Portuguese
Government sponsored long-term partnership between CMU and several
Portuguese universities (http://www.icti.cmu.edu) with the goal of
stimulating collaborative research and fostering scientific and
technological skills at the highest levels.
CNA Working Group: Fall 2008
Postdocs and graduate students in applied analysis are strongly
encouraged to attend. The first meeting will take place on Thursday,
September 18 at 1:30 pm in PPB 300. Following meetings will be held on
Tuesdays at 2:30pm in PPB 300.

The Center for Nonlinear Analysis (CNA) in the Department of
Mathematical Sciences, Carnegie Mellon University, has been awarded a
National Science Foundation RTG (Research Training Group) award that
will support US citizens, nationals, and permanent residents who wish to
pursue graduate studies in applied analysis...
