Ladies and gentlemen,
I've been extending the DST Election process as much as possible, and events like me being out of the country for the past couple of weeks have conspired to help keep that going. However, I have now extended the application review process to the greatest extent possible. I must now announce the candidates for Domain Storyteller for Pittsburgh. Your candidates are:
Brian Buffalini
Sameer Yalamanchi
In accordance with the Membership Handbook, we'll allow two weeks, starting today, for discussion on the candidates. I'd encourage each candidate to post his resume and vision statement to this list, so that the populace can see the ideas each candidate holds and take that into account in their decision. Discussion will close on 12 July at 11:59 PM EST.
Voting will also run for two weeks, and will begin 13 July at 12:00 EST. Votes should be sent to myself, Kris Borer (felixplaz @ yahoo.com), and Jed Stancato (xavier_oconnor @ yahoo.com) not later than 11:59 PM EST on 27 July. The proctors will confer, and hopefully release the results on 28 July, allowing the new DST to step into his role as of 1 August.
