I've just sent to Alex to request to get a public statement that I can present here for the Domain. He generally has a short response time, so I'm hopeful that we'll have something shortly.
Meanwhile, since there was a preference expressed to have more time, I'm perfectly fine with that. Therefore, we will start with a two-week call for applications, starting midnight tomorrow, 7 May, and running until 11:59 PM on 20 May. We'll work the rest of the schedule from there. I have to be out of town on and about the 21st, so limited email access from afar may slow things down, as well. I apologize in advance if that causes an issue; I'll do the best I can within the constraints that real work imposes.
I realize that this is sudden, and I will do whatever I can (within reason, folks- please don't ask me to bend the laws of time, for example... the Paradox backlash would be brutal) to make this as simple and professional as possible.
