I imagine Jon's reluctance to continue discussion was brought about by an e-mail I sent to Charles Bailey. This puts me in a bit of a quandary. I assure everyone that I did not threaten legal action. I would willingly prove this by providing a copy of the e-mail, but Charles has stated that he believes it is necessary to obtain permission from both the sender and recipients of an e-mail before publishing it publically. I disagree, but since Charles has indicated that any appeal process might be negatively affected by publicly revealing e-mails, I am unsure of what course of action I should take.

To Jon specifically, I assure you that all recent e-mail interactions I have had with Charles do not involve any action the MST has taken against Jason Patton. Thus, in regards to issues dealing with Jason Patton and the MST, no stated or implied threat of legal action exists. Therefore, you should feel comfortable continuing any meaningful discussion that might exist about that issue. And, please, allow me to reiterate, the MST has taken no disciplinary action against me (and I have this confirmed by the Club Director), so I do not feel that I am personally involved in this current situation.
