Dale-

I do not believe that it is in the best interests of Pittsburgh as a Domain, or the club as a whole, for me to refuse to run a DST election. If I felt that way, I would not have called for applications almost two weeks ago (three days to deadline, btw). That has zero to do with my own removal from office; it has everything to do with the idea that not electing a new DST would be a Bad Thing for the EC, and for Pittsburgh as a part of the Region. All things considered, I could see my position as being in jeopardy, either way, since I could be removed by a VoCon called by the Pittsburgh DST. So my position doesn't matter. It's my job to try to do what's best for the Region to the best of my ability. You may agree or disagree, but I do not believe that acting (or refusing to act) in such a manner would be productive or beneficial for anyone.
