if by politely and in a civil tone you mean disuguising my words in
unneccessary rhetoric, then i say no. i refuse to do it. everyone is so
concerned with making sure that they come across as "intelligent" that they
surgarcoat the things that they have to say. there is nothing wrong with
just pointing out the problem and saying what it is in plain language. i
have not insulted anyone directly. the furthest that i may have gone is to
imply that Alex and Charles are guilty of something that they have not been
found guilty of. (although in my opinion there is strong evidence to support
that charge). other than that, all ive been doing is telling it the way it
is. people seem to be scared of that. i refuse to fluff the facts with fancy
language that any college freshman can use and try to come across as
"intelligent". i dont need to prove my intelligence. it seems to me that
some feel if they fluff their language they wont come across as offensive.
but sometimes being offensive is all that is left. im a firm believer in
"violence IS a resort, but the last". im not saying that im going to try to
reach through my computer and start punching people, but i do mean after all
else has failed, someone needs to stand up and start yelling. it seems as
though thats the only way to be heard.
