Dan,
I asked the DC to speak with you yes.
I do feel that some of your commentary has been
derogatory. I am trying to work with your local staff
and not just come down from "on high" and lay down the
law. Do I feel you have violated the CoC? Yes.
However, I am letting your DC look at and make what he
feels is an informed decision because he knows more
about you, he is able to sit and talk to you more
readily than I am, and in the end he may feel that no
action is warranted. If he feels no action is
warranted, he will tell me and provide me with support
as to why he feels that no action is needed. I, of
course, will look it over, and may very likely accept
what he has to say. Not guaranteeing I will, but it
will have an impact on any decision I would make.
I am posting this publically, not because I do not
believe in the punish in private thing... but because
I have not taken an action and have asked the DC to
look into it.
I try to let the local chain (because they do tend to
know what is happening in their domain more than I do
on a day to day basis) handle as much as possible.
That answer your question Dan?
