I would like ask Wes or Jason to clarify what the nature of the appeal
was, and thus its boundaries. Wes has made reference to how it
constrained the Council from investigating certain tangents and
aspects of the investigation, so I believe it to be quite topical for
those interested in understanding what was and was not considered as
part of the appeal process.

Wes, a specific question for you. It is my understanding that during
the processing of the appeal, the effects of the pending action were
already in effect against Jason (removal from office). If this is
true, why did this departure from stated rules occur?

I do concede that I might be wrong about what occured or exactly the
rules in regards to appeals are, so I apologize in advance if I am
mixed up.
