We will first examine sections listed 1.2, 1.4, and 1.5. Due to the structure of these tutorial
pages, 1.3 is included within 1.2, and 1.6 is within 1.5. Either download the worksheets, or simply
select preview. In a blank Maple worksheet, please go through these tutorials, issuing the commands,
and examining what happens. Needless to say, Maple is initially a bit quirky regarding its handling of
functions. But with a little practice, one can sucessfully work with Maple functions.
