Parallel to the aforementioned main street, this heavily-trafficked railroad gives Flagstaff a little more outback charm (as if it needed it - on this brief acquaintance, it seemed to me one of the friendliest and most civilised towns I've met), though waiting at the crossings for several minutes at a time gets inconvenient after a while.
