"From wireless to sensor networks and control"

Abstract

How much information can wireless networks transport, and what is an appropriate architecture for information transfer? We provide an information theory designed to shed light on this question. The talk will also describe protocol design for ad-hoc and sensor networks and describe the next phase of the info tech revolution: the convergence of control with communication and computing.
