21-365 Projects in Applied Mathematics Fall or Spring: 9 units This course provides students with an opportunity to solve problems posed by area companies. It is also designed to provide experience working as part of a team to solve problems for a client. The background needed might include linear programming, simulation, data analysis, scheduling, numerical techniques, etc. Prerequisite: Permission of the instructor; technical background necessary varies with the project.
