Computational Facilities
All Carnegie Mellon students have access to the University-wide Andrew system and to the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center which has a full array of vector- and parallel-processing machines. The Department has a dedicated cluster of Linux workstations for use by all students and all student offices are equipped with at least one workstation. The Department also has its own Beowulf cluster.
