Research

As mathematics lecturer for the Carnegie Mellon Action Project I am concerned with the academic development, particularly with Calculus, of our diverse student body. My main research interests involve wavelets, fractals, image compression, and tilings. Recently I have been studying Haar-type Multi-tiles in two dimensions and potential applications in image compression.
