Title: Two one-gap cardinal transfer theorems, Part 1

Abstract: I will deal with the converse of Vaught's two cardinal theorem, namely verifying (aleph_1,aleph_0)-->(lambda^+,lambda)

I will present

(1) Chang's two-cardinal theorem that establishes the above (under GCH) for all regular lambda using a generalization of saturation, and

(2) Jensen's proof using square (and GCH) that the above holds also for singular lambda, this involves special models and a two dimensional construction.
