Research:Dana Mihai obtained her doctoral degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2006, in the area of differential geometry with a focus on twistor theory. At Carnegie Mellon she taught a variety of undergraduate courses, including multidimensional calculus, matrix algebra, topology and geometry, and a Millennium Problems Seminar. Dr. Mihai is involved in several committees at the department and university level, such as the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee, the University Students Affairs Council, Faculty Senate, and the Academic Review Board and University Committee on Discipline.
