Research:My research area is combinatorics, the study discrete structures. I am particularly interested in probabilistic issues. Either the use of random variables to prove the existence of certain structures, the probabilistic method, or the analysis of random structures for their own sake.
In addition I am interested in applying the tools of probabilistic combinatorics to computational problems that arise in Theoretical Computer Science and Operations Research. In particular, the use of Markov Chain Monte Carlo.
Selected Publications:A list of all publications is available.
