I work on the interface of combinatorics with geometry and number theory. My goal is both to apply combinatorial ideas to geometry, and to understand the appearance of geometric objects in combinatorics. My most recent result is about Beck--Fiala theorem, which is a remarkable mixture of combinatorics and a linear algebra. I currently think about constructions of graphs that do not contain a prescribed bipartite graph, and about extensions of the sum-product theorem.
