Title: Game-Theoretic Learning in Large-Scale Multi-Agent Games

Abstract: Contemporary problems in computing and engineering are often modeled as "multi-agent systems" using the framework of game theory. The subject of learning in games studies dynamical processes that lead groups of interacting agents to reach equilibrium behavior. The talk will discuss the field of learning in games, with a particular emphasis on one of the oldest and best studied game-theoretic learning /algorithms: Fictitious Play (FP). Convergence of FP to the set of Nash equilibria for certain large-scale games of interest will be discussed.
