Title: Some remarks on continuous functions with compact support

Abstract: In this talk, I will use the space of continuous functions with compact support as a starting point for three themes: the difference between a Banach and a Frechet space, a useful Lipschitz-type estimate for bounded uniformly continuous functions, and duality with measures.
