This course explores methods of solving ordinary differential equations and introduction to partial differential equations; reviews elementary concepts, series, solutions, boundary value problems, eigenfunction expansions, and Fourier, Bessel, and Legrendre functions; and addresses calculus of variations. Solutions of classical partial differential equations of mathematical physics, including Laplace transformation and the method of separation of variables, will be covered in this course.
