Title: Existence of minimizers for non-level convex supremal functionals

Abstract: Necessary and sufficient conditions for existence of solutions to $L^\infty$ variational problems, when the supremand (i.e. the energy density) is not necessarily level convex, are investigated. The analysis is obtained through a comparison with the related level convex prob- lem and written in terms of a di fferential inclusion involving the boundary data. Several conditions of convexity for the supremand $f$ are also studied.
