Title: General Porous Medium Equation as a multi-phase methane-hydrate Model

Abstract: We briefly describe a developing model of the evolution of methane hydrates in the seabed. These lead to nonlinear partial differential equations of porous media type with spatially dependent constraints. Convex analysis techniques are used to extend the existence theory to include this class of equations.
